My career

Hello, how you doing?

Today I’m here to talk about a little bit about the career I study well as you know is Sociology.

 When I was in the last year of high school, I already know my interest in social science, but no in specific one area, so I started to investigate and I found sociology. In that time I like the career because gives me the opportunity to sees the social relationships from different point of views.

At present I´m in process to closure the third semester of the career, by far I study subjects like classical sociological theory, social anthropology, epistemology, statistic, social philosophy, and others more.

I think there are a few things I like to change of the career, in specific of the curriculum, like the program of statistic, when the help course they are no very good, I think they need a lot of improvement. Also I think there are problems with course like population and society, where it´s not get very clear what is the purpose of the course.

I think the workload in sometimes it´s very high, but for incoordination between one course and another, because in some weeks we don´t have a high workload in fact is very low, but in others it´s insane all the things we have to do.

One thing who draws my attention is the fact we don´t study in own faculty, and I think that´s happened because the infrastructure it´s getting a little too old for the needs of the student.
